All new clients are required to complete a consultation form relevant to the treatment that is booked. All consultations will include personal data including name, address, contact phone numbers and email addresses. We use this information to contact you with appointment reminders and confirmations, to provide you with any pre and post care information and to keep you up to date with our service offerings. Please notify us of any changes to your contact details to assist us in delivering important information to you. By booking an appointment with us, you indicate your acceptance of these terms.
APPOINTMENT BOOKING
Appointments can be booked by calling us on 0424 536 945. You can also text your appointment request to this number. Alternatively, you can book online at www.theskincarespace.com.au or through the booking links on our Facebook and Instagram accounts @theskincarespace
When your appointment has successfully been booked, you will receive a confirmation email. One day before your appointment, you will receive a reminder SMS. It is your responsibility to read these messages and ensure that you are aware of the correct time and date of your appointment.
Bookings are secured with a $50 booking fee. Booking fees are retained by The Skincare Space in the event of a no-show or late cancellation, defined as:
- cancelling with less than 24 hours notice from the start of the appointment time
- failing to arrive for the appointment.
A No-Show is declared once 20% of the appointment time has passed and the customer has not arrived.

OUR LOCATION
Please aim to arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. We are located in Paradise Rivers, Ashmore, 4214.
Please note – if you are late, we may not be able to provide the full treatment that you are booked for. In this instance, you will still be charged for the full appointment. If treatment is refused, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the treatment cost. If the treatment was prepaid, the full cost will be forfeited.
We reserve the right to determine suitable treatment for the client and to refuse treatment for the client if deemed not suitable. This decision is to be made by the practitioner at their absolute discretion.
It is unfortunately not possible to bring children to your appointment, in the interest of health and safety. Treatment rooms are not safe environments for children and we are not able to offer supervision for children during your appointment.

GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from date of purchase. Gift Vouchers have no cash value and are non-refundable. Gift Vouchers are valid until the expiry date specified and cannot be redeemed after this date. The Skincare Space is not responsible for lost / stolen vouchers, and is not responsible for replacing a voucher that has been lost / stolen. Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Gift Vouchers are not valid with any other offer and / or special at The Skincare Space. Gift Vouchers must be used by one person and cannot be transferred.
PROMOTIONAL VOUCHERS
Promotional Vouchers are not Gift Vouchers. Promotional Vouchers are sold for a limited time and in limited quantities to promote a particular service, season, clinic event, sale event, holiday or other promotion. Promotional Vouchers are valid for 90 days from date of purchase. Promotional Vouchers that are unused after 90 days from date of purchase (the 'promotional period') are deemed to have expired and can no longer be redeemed.
Promotional Vouchers for any given promotion are available for purchase until sold out. Promotional Vouchers have no cash value and are non-refundable. Promotional Vouchers are valid for the specified service only are not valid with any other offer and / or special at The Skincare Space.
Special Offer Promotional Vouchers are available to purchase for a strictly limited time and in limited numbers, are discounted special offers which must be redeemed within 90 days of purchase and are not subject to standard Gift Voucher Ts & Cs.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We require a minimum of 48 hours notice for any appointment cancellation to allow time to reallocate your appointment to another client. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, or fail to attend a booked appointment, we reserve the right to charge the following:
- Pre-paid treatments/packages/vouchers/promotional vouchers: the treatment will be forfeited
- Treatment: Your $50 booking fee will be forfeited
- Consultations: Your $50 booking fee will be forfeited
These charges will need to be settled before another appointment booking can be accepted. By booking an appointment with us, you indicate your acceptance of these terms.
REFUND POLICY
We are not required to provide a refund if you change your mind about the products or services you asked for. You may ask us for a refund of a product or service if:
- The product or service has a problem that would have stopped someone from purchasing it if they had known about it
- It is substantially unfit for its common purpose, and can’t easily be fixed within a reasonable time
- It does not meet the specific purpose you asked for and cannot be easily rectified within a reasonable time
- It creates an unsafe situation
Please choose carefully as we do not refund for change of mind or circumstance.
COVID-19 POLICY
The beauty and aesthetics industry is operating under a COVID-SAFE plan. We follow all current guidelines including the collection of data and COVID-SAFE screening. We will be unable to proceed with your appointment should you arrive showing any signs or symptoms of COVID-19. Should you refuse to meet the mandatory safety requirements outlined in our COVID-19 Safe Plan, this may be treated as a ‘change of mind’.
